What We Do

We provide support through our monthly calendar of activities that moms can do with their children. Our membership is open to any mom who lives in the Hereford Zone. This covers those zoned for the following elementary schools: Prettyboy Elementary, Fifth District Elementary, Seventh District Elementary, Sparks Elementary and Jacksonville Elementary

If you are not zoned for one of those schools please check Moms Club Find a Chapter to locate the chapter closest to you.

Our programs are designed so you can participate during the day with your children and in the community.

MOMS Club® offers opportunities for both mothers and children to socialize and make connections with others in their community.  We have play dates, special activities, craft events, book club, and a monthly Mom's night out. Play dates are outdoors (during COVID-19) at our member's homes, parks, libraries, local attractions, etc. We have holiday and themed events throughout the year. We also do service projects to help our community.

You are a great mother whether you stay at home or work! Due to the daytime events, this environment does work best for moms that are home or working part time. We understand that being an at-home mother does not mean you “don’t work” — ALL mothers work, whether they work taking care of their children at home or work full-brim outside the home.

We post public events on our Facebook page where we encourage Moms to come check us out. If you chose to be become a member (and we hope you do) we have a private page with all our events listed.  We have a yearly $25 membership fee. Our membership fee covers our international club fee, crafts, party expenses, service projects and more.

*Due to COVID-19 we have moved all of events outdoors or virtual. We do our best to ensure all events are safely socially distanced and respect everyone's choices for their families.

Tons of Activities

Our chapter plans all sorts of activities for moms and kids. There are playground picnics, NCR trail walks/rides, picking fruit, farm field trips, storytimes, and more.

Community Service

We are proud of our community! This year, our chapter was recognized by MOMS Club International with an award for our community service program. Past community service events include: virtual connections with the residents at Broadmead, harvesting produce at First Fruits Farm, donations to Lasagna Love, partnering with Dough Run to deliver “bars with a cause" to Univ. of MD St. Joseph Medical Center, and our personal hygiene drive for the North Baltimore Food Bank.

We have a monthly book club, and we'd love for you to join! We have two meetings, one in the morning and one in the evening, to make sure our members have the opportunity to attend.

For almost 40 years — since our beginning – the MOMS Club has been on the right side of history by being inclusive of all at-home mothers regardless of race, religion, sexuality, ethnicity and economic status.  We would not have it any other way.
